Reminders help you remember important actions and can also be used to remind your clients about something they need to do. You can schedule reminders for a specific date and time and manage them from your Provider workspace.
Open Reminders
First, make sure you are in the Provider View. Then:
Open Workspace.
Select Reminders.
Understand Reminder Statuses
Your reminders are organized according to their current status.
Pending Reminders
Pending reminders are scheduled for the future and have not been sent yet.
These reminders are still active.
Sent Reminders
Sent reminders have already been triggered and delivered to their assigned recipient.
Cancelled Reminders
Reminders that you cancel are moved into the cancelled section.
Create a New Reminder
To schedule a reminder:
Click New Reminder.
Choose who should receive it.
Enter a title.
Write the reminder message.
Choose the date.
Choose the time.
Click Create Reminder.
For example, you could create a reminder for a client asking them to send presentation files before an upcoming meeting. The reminder will appear in your Pending list until its scheduled time.
Send Reminders to Yourself or Clients
A reminder can be created for yourself or for one of your clients. Some common uses include:
Following up with a client
Requesting missing documents
Preparing for an appointment
Remembering an important task
Asking a customer to send information
Following up on agreed actions
Edit a Reminder
To modify a pending reminder, click Edit. You can change:
Date
Time
Title
Message
The reminder recipient cannot be changed after the reminder has been created. If you selected the wrong recipient, cancel the existing reminder and create a new one.
Check Who Will Receive the Reminder
The reminder information shows who the reminder is assigned to, together with its scheduled date and time.
Always check this information before leaving the reminder active.
Cancel a Reminder
If you no longer need a reminder, click Cancel.
Cancelling unnecessary reminders is important because active reminders may still generate notifications or emails when their scheduled time arrives.
After cancellation, the reminder moves to the Cancelled list.
Using reminders can reduce the need to manually remember every follow-up and can help both you and your clients stay on top of important actions.
