How to Track Appointments as a Provider?

This article explains the steps involved in tracking appointments on Schemon.

Schemon gives providers several ways to keep track of upcoming, pending, past, cancelled, and declined appointments. You can quickly check your next appointment from your overview page or use the Schedule section for a more detailed view.

Access the Provider Workspace

First, make sure you are in the Provider View. You can switch to it using the blue button at the top-right of your screen.

Check Your Next Appointment from the Overview Page

The Provider Overview gives you quick access to your most immediate appointment.

Your next appointment is displayed near the top-right section of the overview page.

Always check the appointment date as well as the time.

You can also find upcoming appointment information underneath the statistics section of the overview page.

This area provides the main details you need without opening the full appointment list.

View Appointments on Your Calendar

For a visual view of your schedule:

  1. Open Schedule.

  2. Select Calendar.

The calendar allows you to see scheduled items by month or select an individual date for a more detailed daily view.

Filter Calendar Items

Your calendar can contain more than appointments. Using the filters, you can choose which types of items you want to see, including:

  • Appointments

  • Reminders

  • Payment deadlines

  • Tasks with due dates

This makes the calendar useful as a central view of your upcoming work.

Use the Appointments Page

For a complete appointment list:

  1. Open Schedule.

  2. Select Appointments.

Appointments are organized into different categories.

Pending

The Pending section contains appointments that are waiting for an action from you.

Upcoming

The Upcoming section shows your scheduled future appointments. The appointments are normally ordered so the soonest appointment appears first. You can also search or filter appointments using information such as:

  • Customer name

  • Customer email

  • Service name

Past

The Past section contains appointments that have already taken place. You can also review cancelled or declined appointments from the relevant sections.

View Appointment Details

To see more information about an appointment, click View Details. The appointment detail page contains relevant information about the booking.

Depending on the appointment, you may see:

  • Customer information

  • Customer notes

  • Appointment activity history

  • Cancellation policy

  • Service information

  • Preparation time

  • Post-appointment buffer time

The activity history is especially useful for understanding what has happened with an appointment over time.

Using the Overview, Calendar, and Appointments sections together gives you a complete view of your upcoming work and client bookings.
