Projects help you organize ongoing work with your clients. You can use a separate project board for each client and manage tasks using a Kanban-style workflow.
Open Projects
To access Projects:
Make sure you are in the Provider View.
Open Workspace.
Select Projects.
The Projects page displays your client project boards in one location. To enter a particular client's project, click Open Board.
Understand the Kanban Board
Project boards are organized into Kanban lists. The standard workflow includes:
Backlog
To Do
In Progress
In Review
Blocked
Done
These stages help you see the current status of work at a glance.
Create a Task
To create a task:
Find the appropriate Kanban list.
Click Add Task.
Enter the task information.
You can create the task quickly and add more details later if necessary.
Edit Task Details
Click a task to open its detail view. From here, you can configure several options.
Priority
Set the priority to indicate how important the task is.
Assignee
A task can be assigned to:
Yourself
Your client
Another team member
This helps make responsibilities clear.
Due Date
You can add a deadline to the task. Task due dates are also reflected in the relevant calendar, helping you keep project deadlines connected to the rest of your schedule.
Use Task Comments
At the bottom of the task, you can write comments and view comments from your client.
This allows project-related discussions to remain connected to the task instead of becoming scattered across different communication channels.
Add Checklist Items
Tasks can contain checklist items. Use these when a larger task contains several smaller steps that need to be completed.
Attach Files
You can also attach files directly to a task. This makes it easier to keep documents and other materials connected to the work they relate to.
Automatic Saving
When you finish editing a task, you can close it. The information you entered is saved automatically.
Search for Tasks
Use the search bar on the project board to quickly find a particular task. This becomes especially useful when a project contains a large number of items.
View Project Activity
The activity section lets you review what has been happening inside the project.
You can use it to keep track of changes and recent actions.
Review Project Metrics
Open the Metrics tab to view information about project performance. This section can provide insight into both provider and client activity within the project.
By using Projects consistently, you can keep tasks, deadlines, files, comments, and client responsibilities organized in one place.
