What is the Data Store and Archive?

This article explains data storage, archive and share features of Schemon.

Updated over a week ago

Schemon keeps your and your clients data on file and archives them as needed. You can download and upload files and do much more.

Data Storage

You can securely store files and documents on Schemon, making it easy to keep all your important information in one place.

General File Storage

Schemon provides a safe and reliable space for you to upload and store various files and documents. Whether it's reports, presentations, or any other type of file, you can organize and access them effortlessly within our platform.

Separate Storage for Invoices and Transaction Files

Your invoices and other transaction-related documents are stored separately from your general file storage. This ensures that financial records are handled with extra care and are not mixed with other types of data. By keeping these files in a dedicated storage area, Schemon provides enhanced organization and security for your financial documents.

Data Archive

Your files are stored and archived securely on Schemon. Our archiving system operates on a 'first in, first out' basis, meaning that the oldest files will be removed from the archive once they reach their time limit.

Secure File Storage and Archiving

Schemon provides a reliable and secure environment for storing your files. All your documents are safely archived, ensuring they are accessible when needed and protected from unauthorized access.

First In, First Out (FIFO) System

Our archiving system uses a 'first in, first out' method. This means that the files you upload first will be the first to be removed once their designated time limit is reached. This approach helps manage storage space efficiently and ensures that newer files are always available.

Data Server

You can easily share your files, as well as the files your clients share with you, directly through Schemon. There is no need to use a separate tool for file sharing, as this feature is built into our platform.

Seamless File Sharing

Schemon allows you to share files effortlessly. Whether you need to send documents to your clients or share files they have provided, everything can be done within the platform.

Integrated Solution

Our built-in file sharing capability eliminates the need for additional tools or software. You can manage and share all your files in one place, streamlining your workflow and making the process more efficient.

Benefits

  • Convenience: Share files quickly and easily without leaving the platform.

  • Efficiency: Manage all your files and sharing activities in one centralized location.

  • Security: Ensure that file sharing is secure and controlled, protecting your data and your clients' data.

File Downloads

Schemon allows you to share files with your customers either by creating download links or by directly sending files through in-app channels. This flexibility ensures that file sharing is convenient, efficient, and tailored to your needs.

Creating Download Links

You can generate download links for your files and send these links to your customers. This allows them to download the files directly from the link, providing a simple and efficient method for file distribution.

Direct File Sharing Through In-App Channels

In addition to sending download links, you can also send files directly through Schemon's in-app channels. This means you can share documents, images, and other files instantly with your customers within the platform, ensuring quick and seamless file transfer.

Benefits

  • Flexibility: Choose between sending download links or directly sharing files based on your preference and the situation.

  • Efficiency: Both methods are integrated into the platform, eliminating the need for external tools and streamlining your workflow.

  • Convenience: Provide your customers with easy access to the files they need, enhancing their experience and satisfaction.
